Independent practical reference
UIDBUY parcel planner: actual and dimensional weight
Use packed measurements
Measure the final outer package in centimetres and its actual packed weight in kilograms. Item dimensions alone do not represent the parcel that a carrier receives. After repacking or consolidation, use the new outside measurements instead of carrying forward the previous figures.
Get the route-specific divisor
Enter the dimensional divisor supplied for the route you are evaluating. Different quotes may use different rules. The planner cannot determine the correct divisor or a carrier minimum from a destination name. Keep the rule or quote reference with your calculation.
Understand the calculation
Dimensional weight in this planner is length multiplied by width multiplied by height, divided by your entered divisor. An illustrative parcel of 40 by 30 by 20 centimetres with a divisor of 6000 gives 4 kilograms. Against an actual weight of 3 kilograms, the larger comparison value is 4 kilograms.
Confirm billing rules at checkout
The larger comparison value is a planning signal, not a shipping price. Rounding, weight increments, route restrictions and other billing conditions may affect a provider quote. Confirm the route rules and final quoted charge through the official platform before arranging shipment.
